He made several points but the one that stands out is that by increasing the EPA rating by 2-3 miles per gallon would pretty much eliminate the need for oil from the ANWR.

And that was "blowing them out of the water"??? This seems like an intuitively obvious statement.

Take us all out of our cars and put us on "IT" and we wouldn't need the ANWR, either! Better yet, why don't the liberals legislate a "Walk to Work" requirement, under which you must either (1) Walk to Work each day, or (2) Sit at home and collect a "Can't Walk to Work" payment?

Kennedy is better than anything the Republicans have as well as the Dems.

I don't know; seems to me like the current administration is doing pretty well (arguably, the most competent administration we've seen in modern times); perhaps it is just an appearance having come through eight years of total incompetence and corruption.
