I had my 11 year old son to the doctor yesterday for a well child physical. He has always been very tall for his age.
As of yesterday he is 62 1/2 inches tall. He weighs 109lbs. According to the height and weight charts for boys, he is approximately in the 97 percentile for height and the 90th percentile for weight for boys his age. He has been teasing his sister recently who is 18 months older than him about his being almost taller than her. Just imagine her reaction when he came home and told her that the doctor predicted based on his height chart since he was little, that he will be about 6'4" inches tall!! I do wonder how I will continue to afford feeding this child as he grows!!!
