with the telecommunications industry, deregulation was a big success.
Deregulation of the telecommunications industry was not a free-for-all. There were many incentives and restrictions to promote local access, sharing of long distance, required interoperability, and even protected competition through wireless, cable, and satellite. The regulations were updated and modernized, not eliminated.
One learns as one goes along......
Some do.
