They will be for Verizon....but PCS is following J2ME.

Anyone have any thoughts on the $4 a month....high or low? If this becomes popular for Verizon, Qualcomm would make a ton of money off of the profit share on BREW.

I think this feature should be free. 4 bucks a month for ring tones? Lets be logical. Do you think people will pay 48 dollars a year for ring tones?

If qualcomm is really interested in just selling more asics and phones, then they should make BREW totally free till BREW becomes the standard platform. For that to happen, BREW will need to be used on GSM systems. It'll be interesting to see what happens. Can't wait till Verizon is offering 1x phones loaded with BREW. Those Korean phones with color screens look pretty cool.
