Hi, there, Rose et al ... folks ... check this out:

Message 16757695

LOL. I think it captures beautifully the emotions of particularly the hapless 'clients' -- the retail investor self-managed like many of us, as well -- and the fund mgr/broker typical responses to generate their own saving-of-ass livelihoods/income solely derived from churning to collect commission ...

The CNBC reference very apt.

This is the first chance I've had all day to see what's going on here on SI .... and I always check out the CFZ first.

Some of the smartest investors are there ... and I know how contentious -- radical -- that is to say among permabull environs (of which this thread isn't, which is a marvelous breath of fresh air from the cut 'n paste obsessive group-think or yer out bull threads -- pun intended -g-

... but, hells, bells -g- y'all know me ... who gives a flying flip! I know the truth when I see it -g- ... as well as the value of seeing the absurd expressed at the far edges of sarcastic humor in all things, including death itself.

One of my favorite things! Not death ... that was an example ... sarcastic humor ... love it.

BTW: Didy'all do any 'good' over on VOLTAIRES MODERATED PORCH last night in the hockey match?

I'll go look now ... at just the highlights if there are a hundred play-by-plays.

;)
