John, Re: What exactly did AMD do to force the consumer to buy higher end Intel chips, and drive high end demand for high end Intel chips? By offering superior performance? If you can't get an AMD Athlon XP1900+ you'll settle for the next best thing -- an XP1800 ... err I mean a 2 GHz P4. <g> Andreas
