<< getting pretty unbearable right now >>

Kastel, Remember me? My only posts on this board were during a 2 day period the week following the attacks of 9/11.

I said that we would begin a war against terrorism and that over a long period of time we would hunt them down and get them. Some on this board said NO, this will be a war that is fought in the US and it would hurt the consumer and hurt the economy. I said the war would be 99% fought in other countries. I was not agreed with.

I said that the week after the event should be used as a buying opportunity. I was not agreed with.

I hate to say "I told you so", but I did. Unfortunately, things aren't as clear right now, in terms of market direction. I felt strongly about my opinion right after 9/11 and I argued it strongly. Now, while I see the economy turning the corner, and expect modest growth in 2002, the direction of the stock market (from these levels) is not as clear. I'll probably just remain long with most of my port and sell the positions I established as trades after 9/11.

FWIW,
Dave
