Patrick, Re: I agree that AMD could have a significant increase in CPU revenues (some unit gain but also big ASP gain from the dismal 3Q01 resulting from shift T-Bird -> XP and retail mobile) to meet the possible 40% CPU revenue increase to match 1Q01 record but this doesn't seem to be fully reflected in the "10% or better" total revenues.

I was wondering about that too. Either flash sales are terrible (not flat but down) or AMD is sandbagging with their overall revenue guidance. OTOH, the 40% CPU revenue increase seems extremely high to me. If we assume flat units ASPs had to climb to about $85 -- almost impossible IMO. So it looks like AMD will sell more than 8 million units with ASPs in the high $70 range. Quite an accomplishment. I didn't realize that completely yesterday so I have to take my assumption back that AMD probably lost unit market share.
