Vladimir, ADSL was an issue for me too before I became aware of two facts: first, based on various sources, I have come to believe that ADSL is not a technology that is ready for widespread deployment now; perhaps it will become so in the latter part of 1998 or 1999; Second, PAIR is actively working on ADSL technology to meet the demand for ADSL gear when it develops. It appears to me that PAIR will be able to take full advantage of the demand for ADSL when it materializes, but as I understand it, ADSL and HDSL meet two different needs, and thus are not competing technologies. Just as an automobile and a truck are both internal combustion powered vehicles, they address differing needs in the market place. Perhaps someone with more technological knowledge on than I possess should comment on this point. Regards, Paul
