FRD's actions were not constitutional in WW2 and Ashcroft's actions are not constitutional today. Ashcroft is pandering to public opinion and apparently you took the the bait. There is equal concerns from the left and the right about the rights of citizens and the rights of terrorists. Lets get the bastards and get them in the right way. Freedom cannot be protected by denying it to some on a selective basis. (WW2 Japanese and today's Inquisition of Arab suspects). Charge them, Deport them or Release them.
