He's a traitor. Especially if it's discovered that he approved of the WTC attacks.

Not it's whether he can present the case that his actions were dictated by his being brainwashed by this Islamic extremist theology.

I feel for his family, but every individual is responsible for their own choices in life.

As for Hanoi Jane... I understand she's finally apologized for her actions in Vietnam and that it was a terrible thing for her to do.

I'll give her the benefit of a doubt now... Although she provided aid and comfort, the circumstances were different in that we went to Vietnam to help defend the south, rather than as a response to an attack on the US homeland by N. Vietnam.

This is where I draw the line.. The minute one joins or cooperates with a group that has attacked, or advocates the destruction of one's country, they must be treated as a traitor.
