I think that Ashcroft is doing just what you are asking. He is charging them, deporting them, investigating their stories, and releasing them. Why get in such a hurry? Let the Justice Dept. do this in an orderly and complete fashion. There is a difference between FDR and Ashcroft. Ashcroft has not rounded up all persons of a particular ethnicity, religion or national origin.
