Zeev still is not a yellow dog fan. He does expect the dollar to take a big hit and gold to rise sharply a year or more down the road. But shorter-term he does not like gold.

One potential gold negative that Lenny Kaplan has emphasized is the plunge in the SA rand. That means the SA producers are getting very high prices right now and may be tempted to lock them in via heavy hedging at some point.
