The Labor Department said another 331,000 nonfarm jobs were lost last month

I run a business and I just chuckled when the state department of labor request for separation information form came in last week. It seems that all of my ex-employees, 3, that I let go over the last two years were back on the unemployment lines within the last two months.

I have to look at the situation as either the least productive slackers in the job market are having problems finding work or the economy is heading down the tubes slowly but surely.

I am still optimistic about the former rather then the latter.
