The company is showing signs of improvement in the restaurant segment. But raw material costs are still hampering margins in the food product segment. Foreign consumption and Taiwanese supply problems have driven hog prices upward. Analysts expect an expansion of the domestic hog supply later this year, due to current attractive margins. Evidence suggests that this may be happening more slowly than expected.

I tend to think that the laws of economics will catch up with hog prices.
