Despite a run on Durian at the local stores, penni and I fought our way through the dark-haired crowd to the durian counter. It looked like everyone had at least one already, and most of them were swinging overhead in their plastic netting bags. I dodged one ten pounder while penni grabbed the last one. She swung at a few kneecaps and we got away clean...smelling refreshed, we headed past the flashing buddha for the parking lot...
