In the early 70's I had the privilege of attending concerts at The Armadillo World Headquarters in Austin. I remember one concert where the main band was Michael Murphey. ["Progressive Country," a mixture of hippies and rednecks was just getting started.] We were sitting near the front in broken down old mismatched folding chairs. We got there early and seated on the row in front of us was the first band that was going to play. One of the guys in this band turned to another and said "you know, I'm a little nervous about this." The name of the band was "Willie Nelson and Family."
