Huber's zeal won't help us get cheaper BB access anytime soon. His stuff goes into the long-haul core network linking major metropolitan areas together (or that's where it would go if anyone were building out those networks anymore). The OOO vs OEO debate has assumed the fervor of the religious wars fought in the past over things like CAP vs DMT modulation and IP vs ATM. Eventually the customers decide, and the abbreviations become little more than fodder for geek-chic trivia contests.
