Brookelise, I like complacency numbers you've provided. Have you ever looked at these numbers back in time from 98 or further back? I view them similar to stochastic numbers, which can stay overbought or oversold for extended periods. Also, you've had these number since summer right on the thread, so their value in a true bear market is known. Just wondering if (as many like to believe, this is a new bull market), that the numbers have as much value. Perhaps, the way to interpret the numbers and pullbacks changes. Comments?

I've been of the belief that we would start turning downward around Thanksgiving. hasn't happened yet and this week, we've had this sharp upmove. wonder if it's built on hope of the WAR ending and bin Laden being caught. It has been a fast 60 days so far.
