Tyrants have all kinds of excuses. The fact that no Japanese were interred on Peal Harbor (without any consequences) dubunked the whole program. I never have read who got the Japanese property left behind?

In the same area a Pharmacist friend of mine (and a recent graduate of University of Chicago School of Pharmacy)when WW2 broke out, decides to buy a drug store in Detroit. So he goes to the draft board to determine his draft status and they give him multiple assurances that he will not be drafted. (1941). So he buys a Walgreen store on Woodward Av for $6000.00 cash. A week into his new business he gets his draft notice.(ten days to report and no extensions) He ends up selling his business back to the original seller for $500.00...

You didn't have to be a minority to feel the effects of the war.
