"How much did Bush campaign and Bush friends (like Karl Rove) get? " Isn't that the million dollar question ? Or should we call it the 50 billion dollar question? The Senate should demand investigations. Even Texas is up in arms over Enron's actions. I hear they are in court right now looking at potential charges of fraud and God knows what else. The national press ( the alleged liberal press ) doesn't seem to be covering the Enron story. Apparently all of Houston is quite angry about the story and it's getting alot of coverage. Here is one article: khou.com How do you feel about Ashcroft and his statements that anyone who disagrees with the current gov't should be considered a person who aids and abets ( sp?) the enemy? I think he should be fired for unconstitutional advocacy! He so much as told a Senate COmmittee that their dissent to his proposals would be treasonous!!! I'll try to find a link to his speech........I heard discussion of it on an ABC talk show last night. The host has alot of credibility IT would appear that most of America is asleep while this administration erodes our rights and thrashes our Constitution. Ashcroft needs to be fired....IMHO. He is out of control!!
