What you should gather from my post is I think it is absolute nonsense to claim "millions of accused terrorists" are going to be tried under these tribunals.

Worry all you like, but give the rest of us a break.


Well, it's at least interesting to know that someone does not care when we give up rights that were a part of our constitional heritage, which is the right to a fair trial of our peers. Whoops, that's a bit hyperbolic. Let me rephrase, when we give up those rights for visitors to the country, we are making a very negative statement to the world. And what happens to our repeated criticisms of the Chinese and others for using military tribunals.

One of the most interesting parts of this is to consider that John Kerry becomes president in 04 and Senator Edwards from NC is his choice for attorney general. Guess which political factions will holler the loudest about protecting constitutional rights.
