Mike...the point was that the War effected a lot of folks in strange ways. I had an uncle now dead that was drafted three times. He was Drafted prior to the start WW2 served 4 years and discharged, redrafted again near the end of WW2,(this time for the duration of the War) then discharged and redrafted again for the Korean War. The only good thing about it was that he started as a PVT and came out a Major after Korea. (And he was a pacifist that taught at Case Western Univ.)

I never heard of anyone getting drafted three times...but that life.He finished with 16 years in the military.
