Maybe Intel should also separate out units and sales figures for Xeon and Itanium, because AMD doesn't compete in those markets. ;-)

But Jimmy Mac has a point. I see X-Box CPU sales more like embedded CPU sales instead of PC CPU sales. One reason is that the X-Box platform won't change for at least three years. By that time, even the lowest-end PC would run at least 3.0 GHz, and tossing in a 733 MHz CPU in "market share" figures would look rather silly.

And in any case, this whole argument over market share is one big peeing contest started by Jerry Sanders. He and the AMDroids think market share is more important than anything else in the world, and the press is paying way too much attention.
