Letting it live is pretty minimal.......

If it could just be handed as a fetus to the church of your choice it would be pretty minimal. Beyond the fetus, the procedure would not have been considered if it were not likely to wreck the mother's family and future and perhaps many more people's either. The assumption that the pregnancy, birth, and later disposition of the child is going to be A-ok is unfounded.
