The two sides reviewed developments and conditions on the regional and international arenas and the two emergency meetings of the Arab foreign ministers of the OIC foreign ministers, due to be held next week.

Al-Shara, on the other hand, made telephone calls with the Saudi foreign minister prince Saud al-Faisal, the Lebanese foreign minister Mahmoud al-Hammoud, Sheikh Hamad Bin Jasem the foreign minister of the state of Qatar, the foreign minister of Iran Kamal Kharazi and with the secretary general of the Arab League Amre Mousa.

During these contacts, consultation were exchanged on the convening of a OIC conference to discuss the deteriorated conditions in the occupied Palestinian territories and the Israeli terrorist practices against the Palestinians.

To this effect, the AL secretary general announced that the Arab foreign ministers will convene their emergency meeting in Doha on Sunday, just one day before convening the emergency meeting of the OIC foreign ministers.

In a statement he made in Cairo on Thursday Mousa said that the Arab ministers will discuss the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people and taking an Arab stand to support the struggle of the Palestinian people in confrontation of the Israeli occupation. Mousa stressed that this meeting will be a clear message to the world on Arab's rejection to the current israeli aggression conducted against the Palestinians.
