AMD has publicly and on the record stated they are getting 90% yields (200 die off an 8 inch wafer). I think they meant usable die..... that is usable if they yield. 200 die from an 8 inch wafer populated by 129mm2 Athlons seems about right. I don't believe AMD gets 90+% yields. I don't believe Engel's 27% garbage either. Par for these threads. THE WATSONYOUTH
