CF and MC are saying that they will continue to push the deal and take it to a vote. I'm reasonably certain that if it goes to a vote, the 675 million is no longer on the table, regardless of which way the vote goes. This certainly gives Carly reason to see that the deal is at least voted on. This deal AND Carly are toast, imho. MC, CPQ, and CPQ shares will continue to struggle in 2002. What a shame! El
