muzosi, A new box every year makes all the old boxes into crap and also that cycle does not give enough time for game writers to survey the field, get accumulated specs on what sells and then write a game for the box....all in one year?? even 2 is hard. I almost think they need at least a three year life for the box before they bring on the new one. They could also play the incremental game, like the car makers do, major change every 3-4 years and small changes every year with the sofware environment the same and backwards compatible. So next year they could ad memory and the network feature connector and the year after that a new box? or eke out one more year. I am sure the successor box is underway as we speak? Has there been any definitive timetable from MSFT? Bill
