When I was in College I was fortunate to form a casual relationship with Bob Moog. He was a professor there. Although he wasn't teaching while I was in school I got to eat lunch with him frequently in the schools cafeteria. I learned a bunch. But your post reminds me of his wild project at the time to make a MIDI theremin. He was crazy about the idea... He was crazy in a lot of ways really. Seems the dream finally became a reality. ;) Was this your source? bigbriar.com Oh.. by the way... do you really think a theremin is 'soothing'??? I suppose in a sort of spooky way, yes...
