Do you think that the cyclical nature of Intel, Microsoft, Oracle, Cisco, Siebel, etc.

While almost all lines of business exhibit some cyclicality, these companies have not demonstrated any appreciable cyclicality in the past decade (at least). Compare a plot of their revenues or cash flows to that of a true cyclical (commodity or large capital good producer, or even AMAT) and the distinction should become clear.
