What a novel legal theory! So Microsoft shouldn't be allowed to sue copyright infringers outside Washington, since that involves cross-border issues better left to the federal government?

If the people (consumers or businesses) of California are harmed, I think it's entirely appropriate that the California AG should act on their behalf -- especially if the feds have abrogated THEIR responsibility to uphold the law.

JMHO -- no legal opinion.
