i think we're pretty close to being on the same page. i was expecting a run to 2100 and would have shorted that point for a trade. we never got there, so i did not short. my long positions were cut in half by thursday's close.

i don't think we ramp necessarily to the new year, just feel you need long exposure as the big unexpected moves will happen to the upside not the downside.

i myself missed the bottom as well. i made good money shorting after the first half of this run was complete but hung on a bit too long after that. i was fortunate to have recognized the potential for the current ramp.

again, i agree with your pullback expectations and will use that opportunity to reload on the longside.
