Maybe a way to look at it is that you get to say (instead of choose). If not that, then perhaps we could say your life is what you say and do, or that you live with what you say and do. If you don't have a choice in the matter it's just luck how it comes to you. Maybe all of life, matter, consciousness, etc. is an illusion. Who knows? Maybe we know nothing at all. Maybe it does not matter at all either or any way. For my part I think it better to live like I have choice, and that choice matters. It appears to me I have a choice in the matter. Call it an illusion, or me disillusioned. It seems like experience and reality exist. It does not matter much whether we are talking about things we can touch or not, unless you want to exclude everything that is not material. We could completely eliminate any talk of god that way. You pays your money, you takes your chances. Choice is most often made in the state of "not knowing" for sure, completely and finally all the data one might like to have in choosing.
