Well, it's going to be a long night. I don't expect I will reach temperature until probably 3 or 4AM. And I have the two little ones tonight while mom and Cielo go to do some shopping and a movie. Interesting fact, and I can't hardly explain iot. Most of the times I fire kilns, I reach temperatures in the wee hours of the day. I have noticed this pattern is consistent with namy other ceramicists. Okay, T minus 11 minutes till daddy time. Gotta take care of a few things. Like locate the fire extinguishers! Not a serious concern, just that I have has a few close calls in my firing experiences. It's that radiant heat that will get you every time. P.S> Remember a while back you and I talking about reincarnation? I believe in one of my past lives I died in a fire. It's just a feeling I get when I am around it. I do not think it strange at all however that I am attracted to it. But I respect it. You can use it and control; it to a large degree, but do not ever take it for granted and always RESPECT FIRE!
