The new economy is done by management consulting.

The new economy in this country started with a group of people doing management consulting to the supermarkets. The distribution was streamlined over the last 5 years, by providing food cheaper and more varieties. The quantity packaged is now smaller, more convenience of checkout, and more part time workers to service the customers. More availability of foods attracted more customers. Supermarkets are cleaner, brighter and more courteous help.

This then move on to department stores and automobile dealerships. Today the management consulting is mostly done at the factories. The service industries have yet to be helped because of the fact they were mostly built in the 1970s.

When management consulting is accepted, the companies consolidated, refocused and re-engineered. The result is that they can plan on growth. More people are hired today, more jobs are changed as a result. The new economy is thus built on job creation. What is not obvious is the distribution warehouses are built so that more products can be readily supplied to customers. Then the manufacturere has to fill the shelves in the warehouses or stores. The fact that turn over of merchandise up to 7-8 times a year from 4-5 times a year, shows the planning of this economy. The factories no longer have to bear the cost of storage in addition to inventory.

This country of ours is on its way; Starting 1999, America, Inc. will be helping the rest of the world to build their economy as well. Now that we have the formula.
