mcom had no blanket coverage. And it was too high priced. No comparision.

$49 a month for all you can eat high speed wireless data? That's too much??

You see that is my point... If Verizon offered you $49 a month for all "you can eat voice services including Long Distance" for $49 a month.. You would be jumping up and down to get "The Deal".

Look at CricKet.. CricKet will have 25.2 million Covered POP's at the end of 2001 operating in 39 markets.

They have no "blanket coverage".. No wide scale roaming.. You walk outside of town, and that is the end of the world as far as your cell phone goes.. Does this "no blanket coverage" stop the subscribers from showing up? Good God! People are standing "in lines" to get "The Deal!!

CricKet will probably add 400,000 subs this quarter! That is about as many "net adds: that DSL companies had in the entire US last quarter. Why? Because Data is viewed as a "Second Class Citizen".. Even you say that $49.95 a month is "too expensive" for all you can eat "wireless data services".

Voice is the Killer Application.
