Well, luckily for you and the rest of us, we have a balanced government with Democrats being the majority in the Senate and Republicans in the White House and Congress, so don't worry about it too much. I'm not even sure what some of the right and left stand for now. It seems that this terrorist attack has turned some things around. You see the Democrats pushing for more intrusion into our privacy via the gun records and the conservative Ashcroft looking like he's weak on crime by refusing to use the records. In some ways, that's what I see as the strength of the US system. As long as everyone's opinion can be heard, hopefully we will be a strong and free people. Anyway, I digress.
