Dan, Re: "You seem to have lost it since you found out that Intel was trailing AMD in process technology (despite spending more on R&D than AMD gets in gross revenue). Must have been a terrible blow for you."

Why would that be a blow to me? Actually, I am quite pleased that AMD is continuing good research. I am a big fan of innovation. Unlike you, it doesn't matter to me where that innovation came from. You spent a lot of effort trying to downplay Intel's Terahertz transistor, but now you must feel all proud that AMD is able to keep up with Intel's pace. AMD's 15nm transistors are a truly great feat, and now Intel has something to work towards improving. Competition is always good in that respect. I wouldn't expect you to understand.

Re: "First AMD reports that their long range program 15nm transistors are switching faster than Intel's, then AMD's development partner releases this about near term processes in final validation:"

So you believe that Motorola is going to hold AMD's hand through the .10u generation? You're probably right. AMD is good at using Motorola's money. AMD is good at using everyone else's money.
