The technical formation prior to the move dictated a significant move...The problem with such a formation is that it doesn't necessarily predict the direction of the significant move although, in this instance, other indicators certainly strongly suggested to me an upward move. Glad you were protected... "Where is everyone who was all over your when you made wrong bullish calls? And I am not just talking about Paul." Many are still here and are relieved that AMD has finally demonstrated some strength...My wrong bullish calls usually derived out of a similar technical formation, which as mentioned, dictate a significant move but don't signal direction...My bullish bias for AMD resulted in my taking a bullish position each time this formation appeared previously...I'll be a little more cautious this next cycle when similar formations take shape as I have learned the hard way that significant negative AMD moves can and do occur out of such formations...
