Israel has no business even responding to Hamas and Islamic Jihad. They are talking to the PA, the PA is the "legal" representative for the Palestinians and it is their job to make or not make offers and negotiate cease fires. As far as Israel is concerned, Hamas and Islamic Jihad are two bands of local mafioso, and should not be "dealt" with but through the long reach of the law. If at all the 1948 lines come back into question, my advice is for the Israeli to respond with the 1922 lines (g). Zeev
