"Global" consciousness is not exciting or beautiful.

You guys are insisting on defining truths and beauties as if they were universal, without any learned behavior.

While we watch 4th of July fireworks, the whole mass of people ooohs and aaahs in unison. But show that same display to people 10,000 years ago, and they'd be frightened out of their wits! We are told by others, what is beautiful. It is learned, not intrinsic.

There can be no "universal " or "global" consciousness unless I can salt water in California, and cause salt water to form simultaneously somewhere else. Consciousness is strictly embedded in the chemical goings-on of trillions of brain cells and axons. Nothing more.

Ego...so dangerous.
