John,

As per your "You may be right, the move may be over and its back to single digits [for MDR]" let me clarify: I wasn't opining on MDR, although I think an OSX fall should take MDR at some point back to $8.25/share where I sit, patient as a granite statue, with a GTC order, unless a favorable court ruling propels it to $18-22/share.

I was merely opining that HAL could very well suffer more stock price damage in the remaining 3 weeks of the year, since it has suddenly become an excellent sales vehicle for those with gains to offset. If the asbestos stench continues to hover around its formerly good name, then I would expect to be able to play the classic JT Clarke game of buying at 7.75 and selling at 11.25 7 or 8 or 9 times.

I particularly liked my image, in this post 9/11 era, of the buying on the HAL chart as resembling flying without instruments in a dense fog, but no one commented on it so I suppose I'm alone in my appreciation. :^)
