Thanks, Tomas. I will continue to post where I think I can add some information (or where I can get a good one-liner in). <g>
To summarize my thoughts about the Pandora gas project, I think it has a lot of potential, but it's valuation as part of IPC's overall NAV should probably be calculated as a long term call option rather than normal reserves using traditional pricing techniques. At the present time, it's out of the money, but it could become quite valuable in the future. The good thing about this kind of option is that it doesn't have a firm expiration date.
[Off-topic] Have you got any specific information on Sands Petroleum? I noticed that they have a web page, but it's not in English. Do you think you could decipher a little of it for me? I'm looking for basic summary level info... overall size, summary financials (Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement), number of shares outstanding, strategy, comments from the chairman's letter to shareholders in the annual report, etc. Anything you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
Perhaps you should consider starting another thread dedicated strictly to Sands? If you do, I will be one of the first subscribers.
Thanks in advance.
