You are missing the point. It doesn't matter if Intel loses a little on every X-Box chip. They will make it up on volume!!!

RE:"I've kept my mouth shut for too long on this because I couldn't believe you AMDroids were stupid enough to miss what was so obvious"

I never underestimate your ability to let a tongue and cheek statement to go right over your head. Lose on each chip, make it up in volume...get it?
Your scope goes little beyond a slide rule...

RE:"Because you can't figure it out for yourselves, I'll give it to you. Within reason, Intel could demand whatever they wanted to for Xbox processors because MSFT couldn't find a reliable source anywhere else. Intel knew it. MSFT knew it."

You have to be kidding right? The Duron was the chip of choice right up to the end when something happened. I guess MS figured out at the last minute that AMD couldn't supply a million dumpster speed chips? Hummm...
On the other hand, Intel might have used scare tactics as well as low balls to get the contract...
It really doesn't matter...what matters is that Intel includes these chips in the PC division and gains share..
