I want you to know that I did appreciate your "flying without instruments in a dense fog" imagery, you silver-tongued barrister. Could be a lot longer than a week if the MDR timeline is any guide. Uncertainty, the factor that Wall Street hates most, has now been introduced and could linger for quite a long time. I wonder how many other cases against HAL are awaiting trial. The size of the HAL judgments will certainly embolden the asbestos lawyers to up the ante considerably.

I know Dick Chaney is in some underground bunker overseeing the hunt for bin Laden but he must have let out a loud whew! when he heard the HAL news. He sold his 800K shares for 50 per when Bush picked him and if he had stuck around at HAL, he probably would have kept them and they would be worth 10M rather than 40M.

Timing is everything.

John
