Remington's art... Hi Richard, I'm afraid that other than a recent trip to Arizona, I probably know about as much about the "West" as you know about the "East". My project is to do something about that before too much longer.... Planned "explorations" in the west: * Trip across Canada by VIA RAIL out to B.C.... maybe get a rail pass and take a few "side trips" on the way... I have always wanted to check out the "Badlands" area in Alberta and the dinosaur museum out at Drumheller (near Calgary). RE: Remington: I think that there is quite a collection of works by Remington at a museum in Cooperstown, N.Y. Yes, I am familiar with his work, and of others of the period. I have always liked the bronze sculptures which they did of horses, longhorn cattle, etc... Guess I'm not much of a "gun enthusiast" though... my only experience at shooting anything was when I used to use the "shooting gallery" arcade game while waiting for my take-out order at the local pizzeria....However, cardboard ducks aren't too tasty, so I gave up "hunting" years ago....(-: Regards, Bev
