What are Ultra/Fast DVDs? I'm not sure what the maximum data transfer rate of the PCI bus is, but I agree that it's plenty fast for 30fps. The data rate coming off the DVD drive will always be fast enough for 30 fps -- the bottleneck is in the MPEG2 decoder, as you probably already know. Maybe someone can shed some light on Ultra/Fast DVDs.
