Maybe not yet, but it is early in this conflict, IMHO. I was thinking more of invasion of privacy of U.S. citizens, not illegal aliens who shouldn't be here in the first place. As for Walker, the lawyers will be arguing about that for quite some time, I'm sure. After all, when he first joined the Taliban, they were being supported by the U.S. Lots of good arguments on all sides of how to deal with him.
What do you think of Ashcroft refusing to let the FBI check gun records of suspected terrorists? It makes him look weak on terrorism and ridiculous, IMHO. Many law experts think the law allows it to be done, so why not do it and argue about it later?
