Hi Mike
Very solid post. However, it was not the fact of Jesus death that made His claims significant, but rather, the eyewitness accounts that He subsequently rose from the dead. If that is true then all His other claims to be Messiah and God are thereby validated. If it's not true that Jesus rose from the dead, then everything else is simply meaningless.
